To all our friends and family - To mark the start of this New Year we have decided to undertake a new year long challenge to walk 1000 miles each between Jan 2021 and Jan 2022! By doing this we are hoping to raise some sponsorship money for an important cause - Ovarian Cancer research. Our son Joshua and his lovely wife Hollie normally do a couple of sponsored challenges themselves each year to raise funds for this cause as Hollie’s wonderful mum Helen was taken away from us far too soon by this cruel disease. They won’t have much opportunity to do their annual fund raising this year as they are going to be busy as New Parents to our first grandchild this summer 😄. Therefore we have both decided to pick up the baton (or walking poles in this instance!) and try to walk a 1000 miles each to raise sponsorship and promote awareness for this important research. Any donation that you can make (big or small) to support us in raising research funds will be greatly appreciated.
